My approach to business photography is to always capture a sense of pride in people’s work. When I take a business portrait I like to show that the business means something to the subject. I try to suggest a sense of pride and satisfaction in the portrait and illustrate the business in the best possible way. I like to show people relaxed and happy in their environment, and with their colleagues and clients.

While I’m working, I try to create an atmosphere which is relaxed and calm, as this will encourage these type of portraits. As one of my favourite photographers, Sebastio Salgado puts it, “It’s not the photographer who makes the picture, but the person being photographed.”
